Founded in 1959 by Joseph and Barbara Bosco, this full service food market has been
family owned and operated for over fifty years. The business underwent major renovations
in 1992 and 2007 that have doubled the size of the building. The current store is
approximately 9,000 square feet featuring 5,000 square feet of selling space which
includes an extensive meat counter, deli, bakery, produce and grocery departments.
Bosco’s employs between 28 and 35 people annually. The business specializes in fresh-cut
meats and assorted specialty sausages developed by co-owner Joseph Bosco, Jr. Community
sausage favorites include garlic and cheese, hot and mild sausage, cheddar bacon
and pizza grillers, to name a few. The deli has developed a huge following for their
fish dinners on Friday and turkey dinners on Sunday and a variety of hot food selections
and rotisserie chickens are available daily. Bosco’s has developed a successful
and reliable niche in the Oswego community by delivering quality products and services
since 1959.
Latest developments: Bosco & Geers received the 2008 Excellence in Small Business
Award by New York Business Development Corporation and NYS Small Business Development
